Where Dutch travellers plan their trip

Wayloha builds personalised travel plans and publishes destination guides in Dutch and English. This page sets out who we are, what we publish, and what a partnership looks like.

What Wayloha is

Wayloha is a travel planning platform. A traveller tells us where they are going and what they enjoy, and we build them a personalised day-by-day plan: where to stay, where to eat, what to do — each with a direct booking link through our partners, among them Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Klook.

Around that sits our editorial work: city guides, destination guides and travel features about places we have actually visited.

We launched this year and are growing quickly. Mike Zuidgeest is the founder; he travels a great deal and writes and edits the destination work himself, alongside a contracted content creator and a growing team.

What is live today

Everything below opens and reads — not a media kit, just the work itself.

Why this audience

A country of 18 million people takes 21 million trips abroad every year.

78% of Dutch residents aged 15 and over take at least one holiday a year, on average 2.4 of them. What they have far less of is coverage of international hotels in their own language. That is the gap we are building for.

The difference

With us, an article becomes a booking

  1. The traveller describes their tripdestination, who they travel with, budget, pace and what they like.
  2. We build the day-by-day planstays, restaurants and activities, laid out day by day.
  3. Every recommendation is bookablethe accommodation in the plan links straight through to its booking page.

So a hotel we write about does not only get an article. It becomes part of the recommendations travellers use at the moment they book — and it stays there.

What a partner gets

We travel, write and photograph ourselves. In practice that means:

  • A full feature, written from an actual stay — not a line in a listicle.
  • Published in both Dutch and English.
  • Our own photography.
  • Permanently online and indexed, rather than a story that disappears after a day.
  • Included in our destination recommendations, bookable directly.

How we write it up

A hosted stay, meal or admission is always disclosed, clearly and at the top of the article. Dutch law requires it, and readers deserve it. An invitation buys our attention, not our verdict: we write what we found.
